Terms and conditions

statistici.ro makes official statistics about Romania available free of charge and without an account, together with charts, images and a public data interface. Nothing is sold and no contract is entered into by using the site.

The published data belong to the institutions that produce them — chiefly the National Institute of Statistics and Eurostat — and are reproduced here with the source indicated. The rights in them remain theirs, and their own reuse conditions continue to apply.

For any official use, the source is what counts, not the reproduction here.

You may reuse the figures, the charts and the images from the site, in the press included, by indicating the original source and linking to the page you took them from.

The public data interface may be used freely, within a reasonable number of requests; access may be limited temporarily if the traffic affects the operation of the service.

The figures are reproduced as the source published them, and sources revise their data: a value that is correct today may be corrected tomorrow by the institution that published it. The site is provided as is, with no warranty that it is complete, uninterrupted or free of errors.

If you find a discrepancy between a figure here and its source, write to us — see the contact page.
